Visionary

Visionary (Horizon Europe, 2022-2026) studied behavioural drivers of the transition to sustainable food systems. I led the work package task investigating whether a governmental biodiversity label increases farmers’ willingness to adopt targeted conservation measures, via a Discrete Choice Experiment across four countries.

Public Goods Games

Contracts2.0 (Horizon 2020, 2019-2023) co-designed novel contract models for agri-environmental measures, combining results-based, collective, land tenure and value chain approaches across eleven innovation labs in nine European countries. I worked in the work package on ex-ante analysis of novel contracts, leading the task on consumer preferences for label-based approaches that bundle ecosystem service provision with agricultural products, studied through Discrete Choice Experiments in several European countries.

Discrete Choice Experiments

AgoraNatura (BMBF, 2016–2020) developed a web-based marketplace matching landowners offering privately financed conservation measures with buyers willing to pay for them. I worked in the sub-project on institutional analysis, studying farmers’ ex ante preferences for such contracts via a Discrete Choice Experiment.
